Honoree:  Ethel Plimack (1910-2019) worked for more than 40 years with the NYC Board of Education and later worked at Marymount Manhattan College until she was 96 years-old. She served as treasurer and secretary of her block association, Washington Court, and was also heavily involved in gaining landmark status for Sunnyside Gardens. A legend in Sunnyside, she received recognition from local elected officials and former President Barack Obama. She lived at 39-54 46th Street until she passed away at the age of 108. (Van Bramer)
