He served as Chaplain for the NYC Transit Authority and the MTA Police and held leadership positions in the United Missionary Baptist Association; the Baptist Ministers’ Conference of Greater New York and Vicinity; and the Baptist Ministers’ Evening Conference of Greater New York and Vicinity. He was the author of over 20 books on all facets of Christian living, was active in the Hampton Ministers’ Conference of Virginia, was a member of the Beta Psi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
