Honoree: Juan Antonio Rossy (1937?-2020) was born in Puerto Rico and came to New York with his two children in 1970. As a single father, he worked hard to ensure his children's futures. He worked as a caretaker, gypsy cab driver, truck driver and as member of the NYCHA programs that helped youths get jobs in the community. He was also very active in his community. He was a member of Community Board 9 , volunteered his time in elections and with the 43rd Precinct; and assisted at Blessed Sacrament and Holy Family Church. He died on August 1, 2020. (Diaz)
