Honoree: Maria Sollitto (1951-2004) was dedicated to her family and also gave of her time to the S. I. Region of the American Cancer Society, the S.I. Federation of PTA’s, New Dorp H. S., her church and community. She was a tireless volunteer for the Make Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. She also worked as a paraprofessional in the city school system and taught religious instruction at Our Lady Queen of Peace School in New Dorp.
