FrassinettiPaula Frassinetti Way (Staten Island) Present name:None Location:Corner of Dawson Place and Hylan Boulevard Honoree: Paula Frassinetti (1809-1882), born in Genoa, founded the Congregation of Saint Dorothy in Italy in 1834. The Sisters of St. Dorothy were noted for their work with the sick in the cholera epidemic that ravaged northern Italy in 1835. In 1913, the Academy of St. Dorothy was opened on Hylan Boulevard.
