Honoree:  The Punjabis are an ethnic group associated with the Punjab region in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent, presently divided between Punjab, India and Punjab, Pakistan. Punjabis may be Muslim, Sikh or Hindu. A significant number of Punjabi Sikhs have immigrated to the United States in the last three decades or so.
