Honoree: Francesco “Frankie” Loccisano (1990-2007) lobbied Congress for the passage of the Conquer Childhood Cancer Act, but passed away from his own cancer before the law was enacted in 2008. Mr. Loccisano also worked to create a foundation to fight against pediatric cancers. It was also established following his death.
