Honoree: Kevin Sheehy (1942-2001) a longtime biology teacher at Tottenville High School, was active in many community organizations. Among others, he served as: President of Friends of Snug Harbor; President of the South Shore Junior Chamber of Commerce; a board member of the Greenbelt Conservancy and vice-president of the Stapleton Local Development Corporation. He died on February 14, 2001 while participating in a charity basketball game.
