The National Herald, as it is known in English, was founded in 1915 and is one of the oldest continually published dailies in the United States. In addition to being the main connection of Greeks and Cypriots to the lands of their birth, it provides its readers with valuable information. The newspaper?s publisher has also established a foundation that assists needy families in the community and supports educational and cultural endeavors.ÿ In 1997 the newspaper launched a weekly edition in English.
