Honoree: Luke M. Parlatore (1984-2002) died in 2002 from complications after a car accident, at the age of 17. After 9/11, he volunteered for the Red Cross and obtained supplies for workers at the World Trade Center site. He received citations from the Vietnam Veterans’ Association and the Alzheimer Foundation for his volunteer efforts.
