Honoree: Michael “Tiger” Heaney (d. 2008) was a plumber with the City Department of Transportation working at Rikers Island and with the Staten Island Ferry system for 30 years. He was a coach in the S.I. slow pitch Softball League as well as a member of the S.I. Chapter of Vietnam Veterans.
