Honoree: Dr. Dominick Anthony Suppo (1934-2018) served in the U.S. Army, rising to the rank of Captain, in the Fifth Army division before he was honorably discharged in 1963. He became a dentist and later founded the Gateway State Bank, where he served on the Board of Directors from conception to the mid-1990s. He was a strong supporter of the Wounded Warriors and the Disabled American Veterans. He also orchestrated and raised money for a memorial at Fort Wadsworth to the Staten Island Survivors of Pearl Harbor. (Matteo)
