She received numerous awards for her work in her community such as the Certificate of Honor from the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, a New York State Assembly Citation, a New York State Assembly Certificate of Merit and a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition that will provide recognition on the file at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
