Farrell Way (Staten Island) Present name:None Location:At the southwest corner of Port Richmond Avenue and Richmond Terrace Honoree: Robert Farrell was the owner of the H.S. Farrell Lumber Co. a family business founded in 1888, and was a leader in Staten Island business and civic circles. He was a board member of the New York Community Bankcorp and also served on the boards of the Richmond County Savings Foundation and the Richmond County Savings Bank division of Community Bank. He served on the advisory board of the Salvation Army, the board of trustees of Wagner College, his alma mater, and was a member of the Richmond Aquehonga Lodge of the Masons. Donald H. Farrell also owned H.S. Farrell Lumber Co. and was president of the Staten Island chapter of the Professional Engineers Society, a member of the Masonic Richmond-Aquehonga Lodge #66, and served on the boards of the Salvation Army of Staten Island and of the Visiting Nurses Association.
