Honoree: William J. Gormley was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. and later joined the FDNY in 1988. He retired from the East Flatbush Ladder Company 174 in 2006. He died in 2017, at the age of 53, as a result of illness from being a first responder at the World Trade Center on 9/11. (Williams)
