Honoree: Patrick Brennan (1935-1999) joined the New York City Police Department in 1965 and rose through the ranks to become Assistant Chief of Police in 1997. He remained in that capacity until his retirement in 1998. (RGPR)

Honoree: Dave Brennan, a veteran of the Korean War, was County Commander of the American Legion, and a member of Catholic War Veterans and Korean War veterans. He was also trustee chairman of the Elks Lodge, located at Wainwright and Richmond Avenue. Hence, the co-naming will read “Dave Brennan’s Elks Way”

Honoree: Michael Brennan (1973-2001), a New York City Firefighter, was a lifelong resident of the Sunnyside section of Queens. He was assigned to Ladder Company No. 4 in Manhattan. On September 11th Michael Brennan answered the call to the World Trade Center and perished in the collapse of the twin towers. (Van Bramer)

Honoree: Lance Corporal Julian T. Brennan, USMC, was killed on January 24, 2009 by a roadside bomb blast during a combat mission in Afghanistan’s Farah Province. He was 23 years old.
