Honoree: Sylvester Royer (d. 2020), an immigrant from the Commonwealth of Dominica, was instrumental in organizing a tenant association in his building.Broadly active in his community, he advocated for the rights of individuals with disabilities; and also showed many community residents how to grow plants, fruits and vegetables.
